Notarial real estate sales with immo-interactif: how does it work?
The procedure is simple : a private individual appoints a notaire to sell his/her property. The notaire advertises the property with photos and a description, viewing dates and times. All the necessary information is advertised on the French notaires’ real estate portal (www.immobilier.notaires.fr/en).
The seller and notaire agree on a date on which the sale will begin. The sale lasts 24 hours during which potential buyers, who sign up beforehand, may make offers while having access to all the property information at any time.
After the 24 hours the seller may decide to accept the best offer and sign a preliminary agreement to sell at the notaire’s office. The remainder of the procedure is the same as a conventional sale.
