Jérôme FEHRENBACH takes the General Management of the High Council of French Notariat

Jérôme FEHRENBACH succeeds Patrice TARTINVILLE in the General Management of the High Council of French Notariat (Conseil supérieur du notariat), the professional organisation of the french notariat, from May 2018.

Graduate of the Institute of Political Studies in Paris, a graduate of HEC, Jérôme Fehrenbach joined the General Inspectorate of Finance when he graduated from Ecole Nationale d'Administration in 1996.

After four years at the General Inspectorate of Finance, he was seconded to Brussels to the Competition Directorate-General of the European Commission. Between 2003 and early 2007 he was successively technical advisor to the Minister of European Affairs, to the Minister for the Public Service and State Reform, then in the Office of the Prime Minister. After a transition in the strategy consulting firm Roland Berger, he joined Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) in 2010 as director of the bank clienteles department, his activities led him to accompany the french notariat on projects and transformations of the moment. Since November 2015 he has been Secretary-General of KPMG France. Jérôme Fehrenbach is married and has two children.

Passionate about history, he is the author or co-author of books on various subjects from the 17th century to 1945.
