"Europe Enacted" exhibition

From 11 to 15 November 2019, the European Parliament organize the exhibition "Europe in Acts: the history of Europe told through notarial acts".

This traveling exhibition aims to highlight notarial acts of major historical value preserved in the national archives. It is organized by the Council of Notariats of the European Union with the sponsorship of MEPs Prof. Dr. Angelika Niebler and Rosa Estarás Ferragut.

On this occasion, you will be able to consult:

  • the will of Queen Isabel la Católica,
  • the award of the “George’s Cross” to the Maltese nation
  • the renunciation document signed by Archduchess Marie-Antoinette on the crowns belonging to the House of Austria
  • the inventory after the death of Frédéric Chopin,
  • the annuity purchase by Jean-Baptiste Lully from Jean-Baptiste Poquelin know as Molière, ...
